Turbine Launches D&D Online Content Update

Dungeons & Dragons Online developer Turbine today announced the launch of The Thirteen Eclipse, a new content update for the fantasy MMO.

Added features include three new areas, an increase of the level cap to 16, a 12-player raid, and a prototype crafting system.

    i had no idea that this game was still around. i just kinda assumed they closed up shop. i guess there is a lot of money to burn from the d&d world though.

      Wow even after what 2 years the level cap is only going to be 16? I remember hitting the cap of 10 in a week during the open beta. I would have thought they would be up to at least 20 by now if not the epic levels of 20-30.

        they're plan to drag it out failed, i was behind it originally but it didn't execute well, ESPECIALLY without a crafting system or raiding...there was just , nothing to do

      It's actually kind of a fun game. It's not an MMO though, at all. The best way to enjoy the game is to go in with 5 other players and treat it like a group RPG; it's a lot of fun that way. There's tons and tons of content, and its extremely story driven....... but its not an MMO.

        I guess, but at this point it's pretty much mincing words.
        It's more of one than guild wars (Which by their own claims isn't) but they still have raid groups of a similar size to WoW, yes? It's just a lot more heavily instanced.
