Warmest regards for my Shacker brethren this morning. This post holiday season is coming at us pretty strong, as there are more demos than a pubbie TF2 match showing up. If you want to dip your toes into Nazi hunting along the Hudson river, Turning Point is availalble. If flying spaceships is your thing, a longer 21-day trial of EVE is coming to Steam, and as having recently run dry in my trial, I think that extra week is just what's needed to get the full picture. And next week, both the 360 and PS3 get a chance to test drive Devil May Cry 4. Can someone just get dude a Dashboard Confessional album already?

  Spy backstabs should always work, even across the map. This is bullshit.

    Ive also noticed that more and more SIDE stabs are resulting in instant kills

      From what I remember if you press the attack button while facing their back, the "instant death stab" is initiated. If the player turns around in the interim, the initiation of the death stab is already under way, thus a face stab will still kill you instantly. Same works for side kills.
      
      I don't know if this has been changed but I don't mind it one bit.

    You have to flame them for like 2 seconds before they catch on fire and start taking damage.

      I haven't noticed that. I die right away to them, especially when it's anything close to point-blank range. :)

  I just started playing spy this week and it is quickly becoming my favorite character. You die like crazy some rounds, but then you hit your stride and kill a shitload of people. My favorite so far has been Granary killing 6 out of 7 blue teamers that had no idea I was up there. It was sooo beyond satisfying backstabbing 6 guys in the matter of 4 seconds!!!

  i was getting VERY annoyed last night when i'd backstab, and it didn't register. this happend SO MANY FRAKING TIMES last night, i was ready to got rosewood on somebody/thing

  nothing is more annoying to me than being backstabbed or being sniped with a headshot. more so when i'm close to being charged on my uber. faggots.
