This isn't a whole new engine is it ? It looks very much like BF2 plus destructible environments (buildings, trees) ?

I don't think so, but even if that was the case, I'd have no problem with it. I've always had an issue with games as they leap up the technological ladder but add nothing to the game play other that pretty graphics and maybe draw distances. I'm glad to see someone finally taking this on, even if it is console only.
Besides, saying 'BF2 plus destructible environments' is like saying 'this looks like a regular backpack except it's full of diamonds.'
