So other news, eh? Activision did spell it out that they want someone to pay for using their guitars in Rock Band. I guess it's just too bad that their guitars aren't available somewhere that customers could exchange currency for said instruments. Seems like that could be an okay trade off, maybe? So what is everyone playing over the holiday weekend? Some lucky participant in the thread will get a set of BioShock gamerpics and theme for the 360.

It depends on what my wife got me for Xmas. I can't figure it out but it's something I'll want to "play with". It's wrapped in a small box, roughly 8"x6"x1.5", it's sort of heavy (like maybe six pounds), it comes from Circuit City (she screwed up and left the bag out), and it was expensive enough to make my wife take out a Circuit City Credit Card (also left out by accident) and make it a "combo" gift for both Xmas and my birthday (Jan 6th). I can't for the life of me figure out what it is. It's probably not a PSP since I think the box is too small and it's overall too heavy (I lamented the PSP possibility in a previous douchebag-post). It can't be a Wii because we already have one (and again, too small). No way is it another game system. I already own a DS. It's too heavy to just be miscellaneous games. I can think of a number of things it could be if we took Circuit City out of the mix. I'd say it could be an iPhone but the box is too big and I don't see an iPhone being that heavy (or for that matter, sold at B&M CC stores with Verizon there and all).

I think I will save Orcs and Elves for the drive to and from St Louis this weekend (going to see the Illini play Mizzou in College Basketball) ... I will probably end up playing Peggle Deluxe or something at the Casual Collective today and spend next week on the big games. Need to get some stuff done before the trip to Pasadena for the Rose Bowl! -
A couple non-gaming friends visit us so I hope I find enough time for COD4, Fable, FF5+6, Halo3, Puzzle Quest, Overlord, ...
I didn't even touch half the games yet. So far CoD4 eats all my precious gaming time! -

Same, I really still don't know how I got invited. I got invited pretty early into Beta 2. I think it was because of my system specs. The Newsletter Veteran flag will give you a higher chance but everyone who signed up before a specific date has that flag on their account. The change in beta methods is also a much welcome change. They were trying to blow their loads too quick!

I really don't plan on playing any games over the holidays. If I do end up doing that it'll be something out of random.

All three of us brothers (white kind, not brothers) will be together for the first time in a year, so we'll probably play some Tiger Woods or Gears of War and Wii bowling.

I will be forced to play Diablo II (LAN-style) with my cousins. I haven't played that game in ages and I don't want to.
With my lone time, I will try to get the last 60 stars in Mario Galaxy. (with Mario. I have been spoiled by the Internet. I know you play the other 120 stars with Luigi)-

Curious, did they actually finish the game and add content and items for 40+ or is everyone still hanging out in the arena?
I heard they merged the pvp servers too meh
I had a low 40s Dreadknight on Varking, don't even think that server is still around - it turned into a ghost town when I stopped playing. Maybe only 100 people or so on at any given time.-
They big raid zone was finished and added. The PvP servers were merged into one FFA server. Performance is much improved, but I've only been playing for a day or so. I do have a free flying reindeer for the holidays, so that's kind of cool.

I was a cunt hairs width from really liking Vanguard, I really wanted to like it. Casting on the Move and Defensive Targets, just about sell the game on their own.
