Speaking of praise, I admit to being pretty excited over this announcement of a Heroes of Might and Magic web game. I felt like the series had pretty much done it's thing, and having seen us embrace Urbandead, Ogame and more, I think pretty much given that it'll be well played here. This is a pretty transformative change for the series, so here's hoping for the best.

replyBoston people; what time did you guys get home? People from my office (in the Fenway/Kenmore area) left around 2 and some of them didn't get home until well after 9. My Mom had to drive across the city and couldn't make it after 4 hours of trying and ended up sleeping on my couch.

basically they thought it would start later in the afternoon.. it started a little earlier so everyone was still at work. then everyone who was at work went "oh, its snowing, I should go home before it gets too bad" all at the same time. Horrible traffic in the middle of a snow storm ensued.. lots of people stuck in traffic for hours and hours.. it was a very duh moment

They were afraid the snow was caused by terrorists so they arrested all the clouds and hauled them off to jail. Moving all those clouds down the freeway caused some pretty big traffic problems.

I was originally supposed to drive home from Montreal yesterday, but earlier in the week I decided to stay up here until today. Pretty good choice; I'll only have to deal with small snow showers and partly cloudy skies.

I posted about this last night. Wife and I were at the BU east campus. We left at 2pm. Traffic was so bad at that point we decided to grab something to eat down on Harvard st. Chowed at Zaftig's, and we were back on the road by 3pm. Comm ave was jammed up at the BU bridge, storow drive was a parking lot, memorial was a parking lot, and 93. I ended up taking the BU bridge over, but did ot take Memorial. I took the back roads over to Mass ave cambridge, then the back roads to Sommervile ave Somerville.
I just kept going the oposite way as everyone else. Worked like a champ. It only took me 2.5 hrs to go 8.5 miles : (-

Left work at 3:30 and got home at 6:30 Concord to Medford. It took me 2.5 hours to get from Concord to Lexington and then only 30 mins once I took back roads to Mass Ave in Lexington. The back roads were way sketchy, but totally worth it.
