Frontlines: Fuel of War Demo Available on Xbox Live

23
As promised by Kaos Studios' Frank DeLise, a demo for the developer's shooter Frontlines: Fuel of War (PC, PS3, X360) has arrived on Xbox Live Marketplace. The 1.69GB demo gives a sampling of the title's single player campaign.

The full version of the Battlefield-esque game will support 64-player multiplayer for PC gamers and 32-player multiplayer for the consoles. Frontlines is the first standalone project from Kaos, formerly known as Trauma Studios, the creators of the Desert Combat mod for DICE's Battlefield 1942 (PC).

Oh wow, I'm going to have to download this just cause it was from Trauma Studios. I could've sworn EA recruited these guys to work on Battlefield

IIRC, they were essentially let go after the release of BF2.

EA did recruit the Desert Combat guys (now Trauma Studios) to make Battlefield 2 for the PC, then fired the shit out of em the week it was released. It comes as no surprise that BF2 for the PC was a buggy POS because EA oversaw and controlled everything. Look where the Battlefield series is going now...singleplayer only. EA doesn't know what the fuck they're doing.
Rest assured that they will screw up Warhammer Online. Hell, half of the Mythic staff has already left.
