Morning Discussion
So what's everyone playing for the weekend? Post it in this thread, and I'll toss out a set of BioShock theme and gamer picture pack for 360 to someone at random.

I quite enjoyed it on 360 as a kind of b-grade western, be sure to try the bonus missions as they were more fun than the actual game I thought as they involved more shooting and "heist" style play than the story. The load and save times on the PC were appalling, has that carried over to the steam release?

I think I'll try to squeeze some Ass-ass-in Creed in this weekend. I just beat COD4's single player because I don't have internet (due to just moving) at home and would have just played multi otherwise. So I guess it was a blessing because I don't think I would have done that for a while. Hopefully I'll get internet this weekend...

Its really awesome, its pretty much a hit at any party....I mean for $60 and you get the 4 buzzers and the game, that just blew my mind first off, then to have a TON of clips from so many movies I mean all they way back to some real classics.....we have played this game a lot and havent been asked the same question once I dont think. Its really fun and totally worth the money as long as you have over 2 people playing it.

Contra: Shattered Soldier. My old copy is so scratched up, it's unplayable. I paid $20 to buy a used copy (apparently, it's rare), and it arrived yesterday.
I am going to pwn this game so hard, and everyone who is over will have to be subjected to my awesome Contra sk1llz. Seriously, what's cooler than a helicopter blowing up the bridge you're on, falling down to a hoverboard, killing a giant skeleton worm boss, and jumping off of the hoverboard onto some rails?
Nothing.-
Unless it's being on a hover harley, blowing the shit out of a submarine-turned-gunship, racing into a tunnel after an armored train, completely levelling the last three cars, then catching up with the train, piling your bike into it and jumping on back to charge a path to he front and fight another transforming robot!
(Phew)

I'm trying to focus on Mass Effect. I was going back and forth between ME and HL2 but switching between those two games is painfully hard. The best of genre combat in HL2 makes ME's clumsy combat system feel really lame and the dialog heavy open ended game play of ME makes H2 feel like it's on rails. So i figured i better play them one at the time.
Probably also rock out in RB -

unreal 2. I had it before, on my old pc, but at 640x480 it wouldn't run at more than 2 FPS as soon as there was any kind of particle effect on screen so I sold it on ebay and recently bought a new copy of it from my local grocery store, which has like ten or so really cheap pc games on a shelf in the back, which is fucking weird but awesome. I got, besides unreal 2, max payne 2 (same story as with u2), splinter cell CT and jade empire special edition from there over the last few weeks.
