GSC Game World Licensed for Xbox 360 Dev, Console Edition of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Possible
Though no specific titles were mentioned, GSC Game World will now pursue multiplatform projects. However, CEO Sergiy Grygorovych promised "we will continue paying maximum attention to the PC platform."
GSC Game World is best for the Cossacks RTS series (below, left) as well as this year's atmospheric FPS S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl (below, right). It is currently developing a prequel to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. titled Clear Sky, and is pursuing other entries in the franchise.
"Obtaining such a status for an independent developer based in ex-USSR means a lot--it took us over 2 years to get," Grygorovych noted. "Creating games for PC, we achieved practically everything, and now are prepared to garner the top spots in sales charts and gamers' recognition in the world of console games too."

I would consider buying a 360 version of this game. I never finished it on PC because my computer couldn't run it well enough with dynamic lighting on.
Console would lack mods allowing you to increase inventory size and make weapons more accurate and whatnot so that might be an issue since a lot of people said it was more fun when you didn't have to worry so much about that. I'd at least give it a rent and see which I liked better.-
Definitely would play this on my 360 if they decided to release it. Never tried to run it on my current PC because it would likely be painful, even at the lowest settings - and what would the point in playing it be then?
Porting the game to consoles could also allow the developers to fix the various problems cited in the original. They could even expand the game by including some of the really impressive and exciting stuff they had to drop when the game was completely rebuilt.
They could really buff the multiplayer side of things as well, bringing in new modes for solo- and teamplay.
