The batch of several dozen shots demonstrates a ridiculous range of environments and gameplay, including planetoid and more irregular surfaces, good old upside-down platforming, swimming, a torus, Jenga (?), lava, lots of cannon, and much more.

Super Mario Galaxy is being developed by Nintendo EAD's Tokyo studio and will be released for Wii on November 12 in North America, to follow in Europe four days later.
