I will say this. Its the fucking Playstation 3 and nothing blows me away about it ever. For the money (and from Sony in general) I always seem to expect more.-
You don't find any games for it impressive? LittleBigPlanet, Ratchet & Clank, Metal Gear Solid 4, Wipeout, Eye of Judgment, Echochrome, Everyday Shooter, etc. all look really good to me.

To be honest, Chris, the only games in that video that look remotely new or interesting are LittleBigPlanet, Motorstorm, and some of the Eye games (some of which look too gimmicky for me). GT looks really beautiful, though. Let me honest, though: I haven't been looking at PS3 media because I haven't been interested in investing in the system yet.
Watching this video hasn't changed my opinion much because I've been looking at some of the games here in reference to other titles. Calling all cars? -- Cel Damage. Heavenly Sword? -- Prince of Persia. Resistance? Fallout + Call of Duty. GT? -- Every other racing game. Perhaps an oversight on my part, and possibly way off the mark, but thats just what I think based on this video.
Some of the other games highlighted here seem too shallow from video footage to warrant purchase... Lair, Feel Ski, Pain, etc.
Now, being that I'm a rabid gamer who owns (or has owned) damn near every console from the Odyssey to the Wii, I'm sure that I'll get a PS3 eventually -- but this video, and its selected titles, didn't sell one to me.-
All the games you mentioned except LittleBigPlanet weren't ones I mentioned. I wasn't specifically talking about this video, I was just responding to the original post that also didn't seem specifically to be about this video, he was talking about the PS3 library as a whole.

Yeah I thought the selection of games was looking pretty good, personally. Seems like, as with the PS2, the genres of titles coming out is quite varied.

In some ways I have to agree as well... it's sony's fault.... well maybe a little... but just the games they are bringing out just don't seem that cool... gt will always be gt and there is no denying that. little big world thing sounds interesting but really I can't see much from it.
