Wii Virtual Console: Yoshi, Mach Rider, Air Zonk
Virtual Console has been stocked with the obscure NES puzzler Yoshi, from eventual Pokemon developer Game Freak, for 500 Wii Points ($5); Nintendo's early NES motorcycle combat game Mach Rider, for 500 Wii Points ($5); and Red Company's slightly oddly named Air "Zonk," a sidescrolling shooter followup to the studio's Bonk's Adventure series, for 600 Wii Points ($6).

Oh Mach Rider, such fond memories of thee. You were one of the first games I owned for my long missed NES. How joyful it makes me to learn of your reappearance on the virtual console. Soon I will be cruising along; turning Quadrunners into exploding pixels, while humming your incessant, infectious theme. Maybe I'll even complete one of those custom tracks that eluded my lack of patience as a child, especially since I can save them now.
