Evening Reading

Thanks for the nice big flood of emails on all the stuff you guys have noticed. We already got a few things fixed such as the RSS feed and the news by category listing having clickable bodys now. Obviously the top priority though is still IE barfing sometimes when navigating comments. We're all quite happy with MS for actually taking a step backwards in rendering with IE7. Greatly appreciated. Oh and if anyone is a javascript expert and wants to help me with the search box behavior it would be greatly appreciated. Oh you may wish to hit CTRL-F5 on your browser to force a cache update sooner. Well then:

Lastly, its the new Rubik's Cube.

Whoa they should do a version of The Price is Right that involves guessing the calorie-count of foods.

Seriously, that would actually be an interesting update, especially if channels could use it to fill their government-mandated quota of edutainment.

Of the names listed there John O'Hurley would be prefered. George Hamilton is a good choice for being old and Barker-esque but I think they shouldn't go that way.

Todd Newton has hosted a Vegas version of The Price is Right in the past, and he's hosted a few other game shows as well. Doesn't hurt that he looks like a young Bob Barker as well. And now that he's also in cahoots with Al Gore (according to his website), you can bet he'll work in something at the end of the show about carbon footprints or some other crap.

I wonder if he would move to make the producers stop offering SUV's as prizes, the way Bob made them stop giving away furs?

Rosie is too much of a lightening rod. They wouldn't sign her. Look at her last stint on The View. Every other day she made the news for saying something asinine.
