Don't let the byline fool you, Nick is responsible for a majority of the coverage here. Well, except for the brief front page breakage. That was all me. It's been a while since I've done that, huh? Good times, good times.

Anyways, I'm not trying to make Nick shoulder some of last night's negativity, I'm just trying to give credit where credit is due. He's a good kid and we're glad to have him. So good, in fact, that we're going to (mostly) turn things over to him for a day or two. So you folks be nice, alright?

Speaking of nice things, your demands for platform-specific icons in BUB have been heard and are in the works. Hooray!

  • Guitar Hero 80s Rocks Radar Love, Only A Lad

Activision revealed eight more of the 30 songs that will be included in Harmonix's Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s when it releases on PlayStation 2 this July. Confirmed today were covers of .38 Special's "Hold on Loosely," Scorpions' "No One Like You", Oingo Boingo's "Only A Lad," White Lion's "Radar Love," Krokus' "Ballroom Blitz," The Romantics' "What I Like About You" and Iron Maiden's "Wrath Child," as well as the original recording of Scandal's "The Warrior."

Given that a large number of the above songs were previously reported to have appeared on pre-order boxes at retailers, today's announcement strongly suggests that the remaining three rumored tracks--Anthrax's "Caught In A Mosh," The Vapors' "Turning Japanese," and Winger's "Seventeen"--will also appear in the game.

  • Headshot energy bar defines Uncommon Loot

Uncommon Loot sent along details of its new energy bar designed specifically for gamers, the Headshot Guarana Infused Energy Bar. Better known as Headshot, or so the press release claims, the bar's 100mg of the caffeinated guarana berry will...do all the things that caffeine normally does, I guess.

"The combination of chocolate, toffee and chewy crisps makes this a deliciously irresistible snack, and the punch of caffeine makes it that much more desirable," said LanLizards Game Cafe President Jonathan Zook. More information, as well as a surprising look at the Uncommon Loot staff, can be found at UncommonLoot.com.

Wow brain failure. When I read that last story, the first thing that came to mind is, "Headshot energy bar... wtf kind of defining gameplay feature is that? The point of a headshot is its a one shot kill..." except its about energy bars that you eat, and I am retarded.
