Fallout 3 Confirmed for PC, PS3, Xbox 360
Like Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion before it, the studio's highly anticipated post-apocalyptic RPG sequel is going multiplatform.
Fallout 3's target platforms come as little surprise, as Bethesda's last full game, the well-received The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, has also been released on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. In a Shacknews interview conducted earlier this year, Bethesda's Pete Hines spoke on the company's attitude towards multiplatform support. "Our philosophy has always been that we don't believe in trying to design the game for a platform. Our philosophy is to [decide] what game we want to make, then determine which platforms can run that game," he explained. Hines went on to speak about various aspects of Fallout 3's development.
