The Lord of the Rings Online Special Edition Announced

Turbine and Midway have announced plans for a Special Edition release of The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar, which can now be pre-ordered at select retail stores. The $59.99 Special Edition includes a making-of DVD, the game's soundtrack, an exclusive in-game item and a map of Middle-Earth. The Lord of the Rings Online launches April 24.

  well, their press release is dated april 12 and i dont see it in our archives, so hey its new for us!

    Weird. I pre-ordered it from GoGamer.com in the begining of March when it was available. They contemplated releasing the special edition in various interviews up until late February, IIRC.
