Bethesda has issued a new patch for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, updating the critically acclaimed RPG to version 1.2. It offers a number of bug fixes as well as two quest fixes.

Fixed issue where stolen items would lose their stolen status if the player character was female.

I love these type of bugfixes... :D

    Exactly... It's as if someone somehow put
    if (character.sex == 'female') {
    inventory.randomItem.stolen = false
    }
