AMD/ATI R600 2nd Quarter

Word around town for a little while has been that the new R600 chip from ATI was getting close and was looking impressive. Seems that we wont be seeing that card until next quarter now. Bummer.

Well, hopefully that means people won't have to spend most of Q1 complaining about crappy Vista drivers.

    I really don't get this. I've been gaming on various ATI cards for 6 years straight and have not had any issues. Not one that I can think of. The bloatware that is the CCC aside.

      Yeah but obviously you won't complain when you AREN'T having any issues. The people that complain do so because they HAVE had some problems with the drivers. Personally I have had a laptop with a ATI card since around the beginning of Novermber last year. I haven't really had MANY problems but there have been some like the RoboBlitz demo not working and some problems with Preditor.
      
      But this is really a very individual issue.
