I know i'm brining up a semi-old point but, it really bugs me that they started this season with Jack acting like he forgot his training from the torture and such. And ever since the bomb went off hes all regular badass like he never forgot in the first place.

Anybody else still feel the same?

I thought they kinda closed it up immediately when he told the lead terrorist guy who's name I forget who he was working with that his man didn't know anything else because he could 'see it in his eyes.' Then the dude really tortured him and Jack saw he went soft and wasn't doing what was necessary and from then on he just kinda sucked it up

Yeah thinking back on it, I suppose your right. I just kinda wish they had used that conflict a bit more, because it was a change from the usual.

I agree. If you get tortured like Jack did from the Chinese, I'd be sure hesitant to do that to another human being.

I'm assuming the cabinet let him resign quietly because the news of his scandal would have "torn the country apart." They mentioned this several times at the end of last season, because Jack wanted more justice, but he knew that was the best they would get.
