Evening Reading

So although I have no interest in the Zune I must admit I like the desktop them for XP minus the awful wallpaper of course. I imagine MS will keep at it and in a couple of years perhaps it will be a pretty good iPod competitor or a phone! I'm all for market competition. Have you girls considered these?

- Mac attack on Vista
- Earth rings
- Global warming is your fault
- Wiki novel
- Virtual Da Vinci
- Lab diamonds are hot
- You totally wanna see Potter's junk

Lastly, congrats to Boston for freaking out after a bunch of cartoon litebrites were mistaken for bombs and shut the city down. Here are your criminal masterminds with some pretty sweet haircuts. "It's clear the intent was to get attention by causing fear and unrest that there was a bomb in that location," Assistant Attorney General John Grossman.

if they were actual "suspects" in my mind, I would think they were being juvenile idiots for acting like they are... but since they're being held for such idiotic reasons, I'm all for their reaction and lampooning of the media.

That's just it; if it really was serious, this would be a bad mistake - but there's just no way they're guilty of anything worse than a fine.

I love how the police and news said the devices looked like IEDs - that's such bullshit. Most IEDs look like used metal tubes with explosives in one end - not circuit boards with light up cartoon characters.

i'm just surprised. kinda like how i'm surprised sacha baron cohen hardly ever cracks up at his own jokes.

even when i'm super pissed off, or trying to be real serious...when people are being funny, i lose it.

I think newspaper reporters have a better sense of humor. I worked at pretty big one for five years, and while it was very hectic, it was also pretty laid back about a lot of things business normally gets worked up on (like employee dress).

I think the TV reporters are the ones that you hear trying to take it seriously, because their footage and questions would be used directly.
