replyBack from my first Ballroom dancing class. I'm not turned teh homo, and it was actually pretty fun. We're the youngest couple by about 20 years. Much fun, highly recommended, would dance again.

I wore my daily dress shoes, Kenneth Cole reaction brown leathers (square toes).
They worked fine, and the instructors said they are ok for their floor. Cool, no purchases.
My gf and I are going to wait a few weeks before heading to the local ballroom for public dance

I got a friend who does quite a bit of dancing (not ballroom though) and in all classes (no matter of "skill level") there is a 2:1 girl ratio. Meaning if you go there as a guy you are guaranteed to find several girls that will be more then happy to dance with you.
Look up some starter classes and call/mail them to inquire if it's ok to come as a single guy. Most likely they'll be more then happy to have you come. ;)-

There are always way more girls than guys at dance classes just desperate for someone of the male variety to step in and be their dance partner. Many are quite attractive too. Hell, last time I went to salsa class, I ended up dancing with like 10 different girls, 8 of whom were there sans-guy.

No, you mean hot guys that can dance are hot. Chicks run from the Kevin Smith's and Paleforce's of the world who can dance but they don't want to be caught dead with them outside of anything comedic. ;)

Both got zero action before their career wealth, on their own admission.
You never see chicks swooning over the good dancer who's not already mildly attractive or more, doesn't happen.

The worst is how he casts his wife in movies and she isn't even that good looking. In fact I think she is kind of fugly. Yet she was supposed to be in the "hot chicks" group in jay and silent bob strike back....yeah next to Ali Larter and Elisha Dushku she doesn't look to good.
