replyWell, that looked really good. For most of it they turned off the interface, and all the 'effects.' I'm sure there would be garbage like floating numbers and 'special attack effects' cluttering up everything during that huge melee they showed. If they could keep that stuff to a minimum the game would have a much more visceral feel.
I'm still a little worried about the manual combat, and I still have NO idea how the "RTS" City building portion is actually gonna play out, but if they can pull it off, this could be a really cool MMO.-
there's a leaked beta video floating around youtube; combat looks fun. The floating numbers are a bit large but it looks fairly uncluttered.
The video is rather interesting in that it might be part of the single player game ..but there's definately a few classes visible in the large Vanir battle (guys with redbeards: ai) ..which is very possible because even though the first 20 levels are single player you have the option of joining other players in completing some of the quests
