The Burning Crusade Burns

Though there hasn't been an official press release, this forum post on the World of Warcraft website notes that the World of Warcraft expansion pack The Burning Crusade has gone gold. It will be in stores January 16.

  it went gold since they release a solid release date. i think the post was mostly making wow forum retards toi shut up about delays.

    Going gold means that the game content was finalized and sent off to production. Setting a release date is not the same thing.
