      Make your character a QB.

I thought FS was pretty fun. SS if you wanna be involved in blitz more. If you want tons and tons of action, go with a QB, TE or HB.

I can't wait until EA and the NFL's exclusivity agreement ends and other developers can try their hand at making a football game.

Microsoft should see if they can get Vivendi Universal to part with their currently unused Front Page Sports brand or partner with Sports Illustrated or Sporting News.com and put the remants of the Visual Concepts guys hanging around MGS to work on a new line of sports games. Of course, knowing Microsoft, they'd fuck around and pull an EA themselves and secure an NFL exclusivity agreement of their own, locking EA and Sony and Nintendo out of an officially licensed football game for the next umpteen years which would pretty much put us right back where we started. Except the shitty football game would be relegated to a single console which would sell like hotcakes in the US because of it's exclusivity. Great news for Microsoft, bad news for everyone who didn't own a 360.

So even though things are bad, maybe they could be worse? Cross your fingers and hope that Madden '08 doesn't include gameplay "innovations" like exclusive halftime show performances from 3D model renders of the EA Trax recording artists featured in the game, or BOOM! Tough Actin' Tinactin™ presents Extreme Tailgating: Madden '08 Hot Dog Eating Contest sponsored by Ball Park™ Franks and French's™ Mustard.

That Snickers hungriest player of the game change didn't sit well with you, did it?

I don't mind the advertising, but I also wouldn't mind a real running game, kinda like the one that briefly showed up whenever they had Ray Lewis on the cover.

Yeah, the running game has been kinda lame now. I play it on the PC though. I'm assuming you play on a console? Things might be a bit different with the games there. PC tends to always be a step behind as far as new stuff goes. Stupid EA.

agreed. The last version the xbox actually had a decent superstar mode.

By the way the NCAA 2007 football game is more enjoyable then MADDEN 2007.
