Steam Sudoku to Benefit Natural Selection 2

12

Unknown Worlds has sent word that its Sudoku game Zen of Sudoku is now available on Steam for $9.95 (with a 10% discount if purchased in its first week in the store) with a one hour free trial. The independent studio hopes that sales of Zen of Sudoku will be able to facilitate funding of Natural Selection 2, currently in development.

I think Sudoku has more versions and iterations of games than Tetris in the last 2 or 3 years it's been a fad.....err....popular.

Don't know about this implementation but Sudoku is highly addictive. Don't know if 'till you try it! :)

No doubt, but is anyone but me sick of all the sudden Sudoku love? In the last year or so it seems like it was just invented or something.

Don't knock it until you play it.

This just sounds like a "everyone likes x, so I hate it" troll.

It's an awesome game. Simple explanation as to why it is popular.

It's because it only got popular in the world (or the western world) in the last year or so. Nobody was promoting/selling it before that. Now puzzle publishers got a hold of the thing - also because it's easier to produce than crosswords - so that's why you're seeing it so much. So although it's pretty old, it's as if it was really invented recently.
