Sam & Max Episode 2 Title Revealed (Updated)

19
In an update that just appeared on the official site of developer Telltale Games, the subtitle of the second episode of Sam & Max: Season 1 was revealed to be Situation: Comedy. A brief plot summary was also posted along with a gameplay video.
Talk show host Myra Stump has gone berzerk! Sam & Max head down to the WARP TV studio to find out why she's holding her audience hostage. But getting onto Myra's stage isnÂ’t going to be easy. First the Freelance Police will have to prove they're worthy of fifteen minutes of fame.

The update seems to be disappearing and reappearing, so in case you can't get to it, we've mirrored the included screenshots here. Situation: Comedy is scheduled for global release on January 5th, 2007 for $8.95, with GameTap subscribers gaining access to the game two weeks earlier. An official announcement is expected in several hours.

The first episode in the series, Culture Shock, was released globally on November 1. Following Situation: Comedy's release, episodes will be delivered on a monthly basis.

Update: Telltale has now made its official announcement of this news, and along with it come higher resolution screenshots as well as the news that the GameTap-specific release date will be December 21, 2006. GameTap subscribers will also have access to a weekly documentary series entitled "The Making of Sam & Max" and episodes of the Sam & Max late-90s FOX animated series.

I installed the demo right when it came out but never got around to play it :(

adventures are still FTW unless they frustrate me with awful controls and 3rd-person cameras, but I noticed I'm a lot less patient with them than back when I played Grim Fandango etc.

It's point and click! The Camera is no problem either.

wasn't meant to be a comment purely about Sam & Max, rather about modern adventures in general, and usually I can live with a semi-broken UI if the rest of the game's good (eg. in Grim Fandango)

as for why I haven't played it yet, no idea :)
