That was almost surreal. Very good episode.

The scenes in the Basestar and the piano playing were, I have no word for it, but it was great.

this is the first episode this season where the music was noticeably excellent. It's a bit surprising since season two was full of fantastic music from start to finish.

Yeah surreal is a good word for it. Kinda sad about Tigh leaving but couldn't say I didn't see it coming. Excellent character development, you really could tell that he was too far gone...but Starbuck hadn't lost THAT much.

      Tables are turned motherfuckers!!!!

Also the disease left behind, I am starting to thing Moore really thought this out. Somewhat akin to DS9, I wonder how many seasons he has it planned out for though.

THAT BEING said - plz reply to this post - tell me if it's as good as S3E4 or E5 - cause both of those seemed pretty good - is it still on the "good run" of top notch episodes? :)

(I haven't seen many OMG blah blah!!!!!!!! posts so I'm guessing we're back to just "good"?) which is still cool

I was better than good. Better than last week. I enjoy how the writers take the story in different directions. This episode had alot more to offer in a plot developing way, as opposed to that action of the 1st few eps in season 3.

for a mid season run episode, its one of the best ive seen. it has some strong references to 2001 / 2010 A Space Odyssey with the part where baltar enters the dying basestar.

the reason you didnt hear any crazy OMG stuff is taht this was a very understated episode, but very good. Had some brilliant undercurrents in it in terms of driving the plot.

        baltar killing that six, wow.

Was that a black haired Six Baltar killed?

Also is the virus biological or of the computer kind?

And...we find out that Centurians are run by the basestar's hybrid and turn off without one.

I wished they would have stretched baltar's stay out on the dying basestar, so that he could have had a conversation with the dying hybrid ... sort of a babbling mind fuck sequence, where at the end he freaks out so bad that he ends up running all the way back to the raptor, dropping half of his shit along the way.

that would have been even better, imho.

I missed it tonight. The wait until it goes up on iTunes tomorrow afternoon will be near-unbearable. The reaction seems to be positive; was it "Exodus Part II" good or merely par for the season?

if the rest of the episodes, the non "bookend" episodes, are this good, season 3 will be the best season yet. the hybrid stuff kicked ass.

It was a fucking amazing episode wasn't it?

I think what the six in his head is saying is true - she really is some kind of force, sent by a third party, using Baltar for as of now unknown purpose.

The real question is: are they going to get to Earth at the end of this season? This show moves fast, is built well and doesn’t pull any punches, so I see it as a real possibility.

I very much look forward to more Baltar wackiness, but more importantly, I want to see Baltar inside Caprica’s head more.
