Curious, how many people are actually interested in this? I'd figure everyone interested would have played it already on the Xbox...years ago.

I don't know how it got such high scores

the story was pretty boring to me

      KOTOR is still Bioware's masterpiece
      unitil Mass Effect

Kotor may or may not be better but for an action RPG, Jade Empire is fucking great.

indeed, although I might buy it just to play through it another time on a platform that lets me backup them savegames ;)

that's not saying I'm happy with Bioware's policy of creating Xbox (360) games and then porting them onto the PC later. I'm really looking forward to Mass Effect but something tells me I'd be more psyched if it was a PC game. What's worse, they haven't released any new info about Dragon Age in, well, ages while they keep making and announcing more console games :(

I would disagree with you in calling it a "policy". KotOR was developed for the Xbox and the PC at the same time. There release dates were staggered, but it takes a while to deal with the PC specific issues on a game.

This is the first time that we have created a game for a console and had no original intentions to release it for the PC. But there was a lot of demand for a PC version so we decided to go ahead and do it.

So, since we have only done this once, I wouldn't really call it a policy.

Dragon Age dropped off the face of the planet, which saddens me greatly. I was really excited for it. Probably canned by now.

It is strange how silent they've been about Dragon Age, but its alive and well. The good doctors confirmed this as little as a few months ago.

Yeap, still in active development and looking good. We still haven't announced a publisher for DA, though. It works better when you have the publisher paying for all the PR. :)

Well some of us are PC only gamers as I'm sure you very well know. I may have picked it up for my brand new 360 if it hadn't already been announced for the PC. Gotta have the high resolutions, better textures, better effects, harder difficulty etc.

I heard it was coming to PC so I waited after I heard the loading times were terrible on the Xbox
