1701 AD Demo

An English language ANNO 1701 / 1701 A.D. demo is now available for people interested in trying this upcoming real-time strategy game. The 876mb demo includes one singleplayer map and one multiplayer map, playable for up to 90 minutes at a time. Thanks 3D Gamers.

I played the german demo and I can really recommend this.

Definately going to buy it.

  Did you play 1501? I LOVED the demo...picked that up at release...made it to the 3rd mission and couldn't beat it. (I'm not the best at these games.) So I have it on my shelf...80% unplayed. I've never built a single soldier. May as well be SimCity for how I play it.

  Agreed, the demo plays very well. The game seems simplified from earlier offerings, on the other hand the presentation is a lot stronger. You can do quit e a bit of stuff in the 90 Minutes the demo gives you, even colonize a second island, so definately a worthy download.

  i have always liked this style of game. I downloaded the demo and enjoyed it.. I think I will be picking this one up myself.
