Monolith Productions sent out this press release with word that 3DO has been added to the list of companies who have licensed the LithTech technology for their game title.

LithTech Inc. today announced the licensing of the powerful LithTech 3D Game Operating System to New World Computing, a division of The 3DO Company (Nasdaq: THDO). LithTech will be used to power multiple titles in the critically acclaimed Might and Magic(R) game brand.

Steve Gibson is the cofounder of Shacknews.com. Originally known as sCary's Quakeholio back in 1996, Steve is now President of Gearbox Publishing after selling Shacknews to GameFly in 2009.
