Turbine sent over an email announcing that Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar has finally reached beta status. People interested in testing can sign up at this location if you're in North America, or here if you're in Europe.

It's the same engine and a lot of the UI is the same too. It's better though, but not as good as it could have been.
