Telltale Games sends along about a dozen new renders from the upcoming Sam and Max: Season 1, showing various locations and characters from the first games. Most of these images were first shown during a Telltale presentation at last week's Comic-Con.

    Episodic adventure games?

    I can't condone this practice.

It's not going to be one game split into parts. Each episode is going to be a case that Sam and Max have to solve. I don't know if they all add up to one arc like Star Wars did with Episodes 4-6, but I don't think it's going to be where they're in the middle of a mystery and the game suddenly ends.

Yeah, in reality it's a lot closer to how the Sam and Max comics work than the first game was.

          Alright, that makes more sense.

Bring on the S&M! sam & max is good, too

I think they've said something like each episode is an individual case and each "season" will have a grand finale and and overall story. A bit unsure about the overall story though, but I do remember the episodes and "seasons" for the series.

        I'm looking forward to it!

Yeah, each case can stand on its own as a full story, but as the episodes progress there's a larger A-arc going on.

That sounds good. Sam and Max were never about long stories anyway.

        That makes sense.
