All y'all get after me for bashing BF2142, but SERIOUSLY..these daily QandAs..are they telling us anything new? Are they completely necessary?

Instead of a daily 'first post' why don't we just have a daily 'BF2142 Omg it's Gonna Rock' shack thread?

  It's not just Q&As... there's news on BF2142 like every freakin' day on Shacknews. It's as if Shacknews' working for EA.

    Maarten and Steve are sooo in the pocket's of EA. And so are most of the other Shackers. Shhh, don't tell anyone, or we won't get our free copies of 2142 with all of the unlocks enabled.

    I think many games reach a point where there's a massive PR output and it gets pretty annoying for 'hardcore' games who constantly visit sites like shacknews... because there's a real flood of news, while the publisher is just trying to reach the 'average' games from all fronts. It happened before with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (heh), it happens with all new Valve games... etc.

  EA has serious PR muscle. They just had the studio showcase and this game is coming out in just a few months.
  
  They are fighting for market share and the press reports it. Don't read it if you don't want, I guess.
