    So I called Ultra Products to get an RMA on a failed PSU, and apparently their policy is to charge my credit card for a new PSU, and then refund me when they receive the defective unit.

    Sounds to me like their trying to scare customers into not returning defective items. I know I don't like the prospect of having to fight to ultimately get my refund. I've heard of companies taking CC #'s so they can charge the customer if they don't receive the defective item back within a certain period of time, but never this.

    Is this S.O.P. for these companies these days?

      I wasnt aware that Hellgate had a built in RMA. Thats AWESOME!
