Featured ShackReviews:
- SixDemonBag takes a look at Guerilla's Killzone (PS2).
- We've got two reviews of Valve's wonderful Half-Life 2: Episode One (PC) this week, one from manlyman and one from SpaecKow.
At this time last week, I was pretty close to the end of Metal Gear Solid 2 (PS2). Since then I completed the game. I feel that the story explored a lot of interesting themes--the relationship between the player and the player character, the role of choice in a video game, Kojima's wacky "fourth wall stuff"--but it unfortunately went to great lengths to sabotage itself with unrestrained and unrepentent wackiness. Oh well. Glad I played it, anyway!
I'm still trying to acquire everything in New Super Mario Bros. (NDS). I've completed all of the levels and found all of the gold coins and cannon, but I guess to get 100% I still need to find the exist to a few more shortcut pipes. Anyone know if you also need to get all of the red coins and unlock all of the mushroom houses?

"darkstone" comes to mind...
I actually liked it though in all its generic rpg goodness.
