Evening Reading

So Maarten is feeling pretty sassy this year and already fired up the E3 2006 coverage index page. We're also going to have 2 HD cameras at the show this year and I'm even bringing along a polarizing lens just for giggles to fight glare. We'll go with 720p for most of the footage again this year but we'll prolly do some 1080p for the really popular stuff.

- Dude, a growing rock slab
- Pyramid or PR stunt
- You'd hit it
- You're about to get hurt!

Lastly, rumors about this have been going around for a couple weeks now but it's apparently not as far fetched as originally thought. Microsoft considering buying Yahoo!

Steve Gibson is the cofounder of Shacknews.com. Originally known as sCary's Quakeholio back in 1996, Steve is now President of Gearbox Publishing after selling Shacknews to GameFly in 2009.

Is it a stat for players? Then it's probably the balance between goals made for and against the team while that player was on the ice (no matter if he was "involved" in making the goal or not).

Number of goals scored for team while player is on ice - number of goals scored against team while player is on ice

I think the new rules also say that if there's a man advantage and the team scores, no + stat is given. It has to be on even teams.

basically: excellent measure of how much you help the team.

not necessarily.. especially if you play on a bad team and score the majority of your points on the power play.
