Next-Gen Drive Equipped PCs Announced

Tech Report has a story up reporting on the availability of computers with next-gen DVD drives. Fujitsu will be shipping a desktop and notebook PC with Blu-ray drives in Japan in June, while Toshiba is soon shipping a laptop equipped with a HD-DVD drive. The drive can also burn dual-layer DVD-+R discs.

    Burning dual layer DVD's sure sounds nice... and expensive.

      You can pick up a drive for your PC with this capability for around $50. Only thing that is still expensive about it is the media which are just under a buck per disk still.
