Dell Buys Alienware

It's now official: Dell has bought Alienware, making the company an independent subsidiary of Dell. According to a story on FiringSquad, Alienware CEO and co-founder Alex Agulia says him and co-founder Nelson Gonzales have taken the company as far as they can on their own, and now look for Dell to help the company grow and improve further.

So that means with the increase in Dell outsourcing + Alienwares awesome track record for customer service (Note sarcasm) = Worst of both worlds.

Hahahaha I know what you mean... I owned an Alienware laptop back in 2004 and the customer service sucked. My father bought a Dell Inspiron 6000 in December and customer support in India = fun fun fun!

I bought a top of the line alienware in 98 before I learned building computers is pretty easy. I called customer support several times and they were pretty nice to me, plus they were american. Too bad it all changed.
