On EverQuest 2 Server Mergers
The EverQuest 2 website has been updated with a new producer's letter, announcing plans to close several game servers. SOE's Scott Hartsman explains that "Because of the size of our game world, some of the worlds feel less full than they should for them be ideal, fun places to play". Starting February 2 people will be able to use the Character Transfer Service free of charge, with ten servers shutting down February 6 and February 17.
