Valve Announces Two From Strategy First on Steam

Valve has sent out an announcement that it will be offering two titles from publisher Strategy First over Steam as of February 7. The games are Space Empires IV, by Malfador Machinations, for $19.99 and Dangerous Waters, by Sonanalysts, for $39.99. Steam users will be able to preorder the games for a 10% discount starting January 24.

I'd love to see a major title not made by Valve being added to the Steam games folder, something like UT2007 or Oblivion.

  What are you talking about? The games mentioned aren't/weren't developed by Valve. The only thing they have to do with them is that they're being distributed over Steam and I imagine Valve is being payed some amount of money for that dubious honor.

    I think his issue is that they weren't "major" titles, not that they weren't developed by Valve.

  Yeah UT 07 and it's back catalog need to get it's butt on Steam pronto. It'd be perfect for it and it's 1000000 mods. :)
