Ok that BloodRayne mishap is really pretty amusing. I like it.

Does anyone know of an a/v receiver that has an A/B/C speaker select, instead of just A/B ? What do I do if I want 3 distinct sets driven from one location?

    Some amps just can't handle the resulting load. All that those are doing is running the speakers in parallel so they end up drawing more power from the amp.

    As long as he does not want to run them at the same time, not recommended, that should work just fine.

    I have the cheapest onkyo stereo receiver on the market and it does this fine, I'm surprised this is a problem.

      Alot of them do it. Generally it is called something like MultiRoom/MultiSource.
