X3 Reunion Rolling Demo

22

A non-interactive X3 Reunion demo is now available, showing off various aspects of this space simulator through the game engine. It's a 232mb download. Thanks 3D Gamers.

    nice typo.

at first i thought this was a retarded idea because i cant play a rolling demo, why dont i just download gameplay videos, then i realise they might actually be useful if they do deliberately step thru the gameplay elements. i just want to know what this game is like and see what its like to play. it is still kinda retarded though.

Not really, If it's in game engine it'd be nice to see how it'll run on your system before you shell out $40

Even if they don't step through the gameplay elements it's much better than a video. A rolling demo uses the actual game engine, so you see what the game will really look like. A video pales in comparison.

...and for what it's worth, you have an awful lot of mistakes in your post for someone who just pointed out a typo ;)

No, he said "Nice Typo!" as in "What a great use of the typo." And this is coming from a person who KNOWS typos. It's quite a compliment.
