World of Warcraft 1.9 Patch Released

162
Blizzard has released the latest patch for World of Warcraft, updating their incredibly popular MMORPG to version 1.9. The new patch adds a whole bunch of new features to the game while allowing Paladin characters to respend their talent points, and fixing yet more bugs.
The Gates of Ahn'Qiraj
The Gates of Ahn'Qiraj will house two massive, unique dungeons -- the Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj, a 20-man raid dungeon, and the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj, a 40-man raid dungeon. As players delve deeper into the mysteries of Ahn'Qiraj, they will discover revelations of the Silithid infestation and their shadowy masters, the Qiraji. Players will have to complete a world event of massive proportions before they can open the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj on their realm.

Soul Shard Bags
Tailors now can make soul bags to hold soul shards. The smallest is a 20-slot bag, the recipe for which can be purchased in Gadgetzan. The recipe for a larger bag can be found in Scholomance, and one for an even larger bag can be found in Molten Core. In the main UI, these soul bags will display how many shards they contain. So long as the soul bags have room, any soul shards a warlock creates will automatically go into the bag.

afaik it was more of a buff than a nerf

having played alliance and horde 60's, I can say that pallies are DEFINITELY more annoying than shammies :(

My biggest hate for Pallys is the fact that they

          1)can wear plate armor
          2)shield, then self heal
3)have way too many stun effects
          4)have mana attacks
          5)every list needs a 5

don't their aura/blessings have a larger range AND affect raid members, while shaman totems have less range and only get party members?

              Auras only effect party members

              pallies have nice buffs though

Auras only affect party members, but blessings can be casted on everyone in a raid. This was horribly time consuming when they only lasted 5 minutes though, basically you had to start recasting buffs as soon as you finshed buffing the last person. That's been fixed now though with the 15 minute class buffs, woot!

                Nerf Pallies.

But Ill take a Shaman buff over a Pally buff. Grace of Air + Mana Tide ftw
