Splinter Cell 4 Q&A
Wasting no time at all, GameSpot has posted a Splinter Cell: Double Agent Q&A. Most of the Q&A is actually about the previous Splinter Cell games, but SC4 questions are about the next-gen visuals, storyline, and gameplay.

I love the SC series but this guy just says they "created a new game type"
NO mention of the Thief series as being a very obvious and very strong influence. Sam Fisher is a modern day Garrett, down to his speech paterns and ultra-cynacism.
-1 for the SC devs. Anyone that has played the Thief series knows how much SC borrows.
