Evening Reading

Yikes! Bit late tonight. So i got a wired XBox360 controller as a secondary controller the other day and funny thing is I really like the thing. Plugs right in to my PC as well and now I finally have a game controller for my PC that doesnt suck. I've probably tried a half dozen different ones over the years. Yay?

I just took the FREE personality test on their "Church of Scientology" website.

Question 1: Do you make thoughtless remarks or accusations which later you regret?
Q 24: Is it normally hard for you to “own up and take the blame”?
Q 47: Have you any particular hate or fear?
Q 68: Do you enjoy activities of your own choosing?
Q 91: Do you ever get a single thought which hangs around?
Q 126: Are your decisions swayed by personal interests?

I gave up about then... Only L. Ron knows how many more pages of questions would have awaited me... now I'll never get the chance to pick up my results for FREE at the nearest available church.

I was surprised by how many churches they actually have near me.

By Xenu's Horn! They have their finger on the pulse of the human condition with questions like that!!!

I would say about as well as Socrates and Plato, but that would be far too generous.

Scientology: Let me put it this way. Have you ever heard of Plato, Aristotle, Socrates?
          The Common man: Yes
          Scientology: Morons.

Haha, you fool! You fell victim to one of the Classic Blunders! The most famous is "Never get involved in a land war in Asia," but only slightly less well-known is this: "Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line!"

            Ahahahahahahaha Ahahahahahahaha Ahhahaha...!

nice Classical allusion to the horn epithet--watching Rome much lately? but don't give scientology as much credit as the Greek and Roman gods. please. you'll make the Saturnian King angry.

You know, Chef probably wasn't in the episode because Isaac Hayes is a Scientologist. :P

I saw a HUGE neon sign saying "Scientology" on a building in downtown Hollywood last night. First I did a double take to see if it really said what I thought it said, then I practically drove into a parked car because I was laughing so hard.

Dude, drive east on Sunset towards Los Feliz. Before you hit Vermont, around a Kaiser Permanente, you will see a ton of Scientology buildings on the south side of the street.

Turn south on L Ron Hubbard Way (seriously) and you're there.
