Out From Boneville, Telltale Games' first Bone title, has been released for purchase through Telltale's website. The game, a point-and-click graphic adventure, is the first episode in a series of titles based on Jeff Smith's acclaimed Bone series of graphic novels. The site offers a downloadable demo, as well as the full version of the game for $19.99.

As reported earlier today, Telltale just signed a deal with Sam & Max creator Steve Purcell giving the developer license to create a series of games based on the comics property.

let me ask you this - even if it's not FOR kids - could I play it with my kids? Will the humor go over their heads?

Definitely. The dialogue and the jokes are pretty easy to understand. What he's talking about is that the books start out with a simple plot, but then it evolves into this epic lord of the rings type saga.

Your toddler probably couldn't solve the puzzles... but might be entertained watching you do it.
