Is it me, or is Shawn basically saying in answer to the last question that they're not going to add any new lands in the expansion?

The problem is that many lands are not finished and probably will be fully used in an expansion. Deadwind Pass is one area I can think of.

Deadwind Pass / Karazhan is going to be an instance zone in the future. Kind of like a SM for level 60's.

They will probably add that in a content patch.

Deadwind Pass is fairly small, compared to most areas.

I fully expect that an expansion will include numerous new lands...I don't think *ANY* MMO has had an expansion that didn't feature new areas to explore.

he's saying for below lvl 60 content, they will just add to the existing lands.. so as not to separate people of like levels any further.

Yeah and it's actually a very good thing to do. It shows that they learned what not to do from past MMOs. Anyway it's not like there is a lack of places to go for players before level 60.

Only if you're horde and level 10-20, kind of. It's either Barrens (more like Boring's) or Silverpine (more like Silverpain)
