Battlefield 2 Chat Log

Xfire hosted a Battlefield 2 chat yesterday, which was attended by EA producer Ben Smith. You can find a transcript at the Xfire site. Questions are about the 1.03 patch, the ranking service, Battlefield Recorder plans, adding the ability to change your name, the role of a producer, and several other topics.

[EA] DieFledermaus: So, the battlerecorder actually works by replaying a log file and it was never built to interpolate game actions backwards

So.. how the hell did they do it in the early techdemo video?

  Maybe it was recorded in video then rewound that way? Don't remember seeing the rewinding in the video myself. :o
