Typically, this little portion of SAS is used to relate my gaming experiences the past week, but to be honest, I sure as shit didn't play anything. So uhm... yea. I guess.. so long and thanks for all the fish?

Is Coded Arms the next PSP game worth buying after Lumines?

i just find it funny that people are getting all hyped up about Coded Arms when:
a) Everyone that has played it has complained about the control sucking
b) Videos showing off the action are careful to not show much movement on the Z-axis (for obvious reasons. See point a)
c) It's just a generic run and gun
Don't take my word for it though: http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/920834.asp
I tried to be optimistic, but they really dropped the ball. The only thing the game has going for it is pretty screenshots. Oh fucking joy.
I agree that Hot Shots is nice, as is Wipeout Pure. I really want to play Metal Gear Acid, mainly because it's a Metal Gear game and it's not part of the Solid subseries (thank god)-

It's just annoying, mostly. It causes the camera to be pretty sluggish when you're attempting to move it around and check out the room that you're in, and the explosions will usually take something like twice as long as they should. It doesn't break the game or anything, but it's pervasive enough to be a big drawback to the game, imo. Hopefully they'll work out the issues for the next game.
