New Battlefield 2 Dedicated Server Files

The first Battlefield 2 patch should be released at 2PM CST today, and in anticipation of that EA has released updated dedicated server files for the game. On FileShack you can find the Windows and Linux builds.

Good lord I hope the game patch improves the browser. I can only imagine how upset GameSpy is what with having their name on that horrendous bit of coding by the DICE guys. Its 2005, game browsers are not new technology, you'd think by now folks could code one up that doesn't make you want to punch your skull in with a meat tenderizer.

  I pray this adds full All-Seeing Eye support, but I'm not holding my breath. The GameSpy browser would have been horrendous even in 1998. It's THAT bad.

    yup, agree. I don't play as much just because of that annoying browser.

  Are you sure that its a DICE issue and not a GameSpy one?
