Foolish Entertainment has released the Advanced Tactical Center, a Battlefield 2 tool which helps with squad organization. A feature list can be found here.

I never understood why BF2 dosent let comanders draw on the map like planetside does.

  I'd just draw Pac-Man eating dots all the time. That's what I do in Guild Wars.

  it draws the lines automaticly when you give orders to the squads.

    Straight lines to the target. Doesn't let you draw a route for them.

      Cuz they arent fucking chimps, they can figure it out, hmm thers a mountain in the way, I think ill go around.

        Except that the commander can see fortified enemy positions better. So, do we go around the left or right side of the mountain?

        The commander can spot people though, which would make them pop up on the map.
